This Krug Brut Champagne has a beautiful golden colour and tiny bubbles all over the inside of the glass. In the background, you can pick up on notes of hazelnut and bruised apple, along with the minerality of wet river stones, the creaminess of a light herbaceousness, and a hint of sweetness. The mousse is creamy and luxurious on the tongue, but there is also cocoa and buttery Brazil nut flesh. The weight fills the middle of the tongue before the acidity hits with precision.
